Compudopt provides free computers to families in need through our Computer Giveaway Program. Each giveaway is by registration only. Find your city below, sign up, and join us at a distribution event.
Be sure to register in the area closest to where you live.
Your Families Future Starts with Computer Access
Devices provided by the school should not be counted as they are not owned by the family. Selected recipients
will be notified by email and/or text message to complete the RSVP process and instructions on next steps!
Applicants can register to receive a free computer using the computer giveaway registration link.
Names will be chosen randomly based on the available inventory three days prior to distribution dates.
To qualify, you must not have access to a working computer at home.
Getting a Free Computer Through Compudopt is Simple
Here’s how the process works:
1. Choose Your City
- Scroll down to find your city in the list.
2. Click “Register”
- Each location has its own registration link.
- You’ll be taken to a short online form.
3. Complete the Registration Form
- Provide your name, contact information, and proof that you have a child in grades K–12.
- Confirm that your household does not already own a working computer.
4. Receive a Confirmation Email/Text
- After registering, you’ll get details about your pickup location, date, and time.
5. Attend the Giveaway Event
- Arrive at the scheduled time.
- Bring a photo ID and any required documentation.
- Our team will provide you with a free computer (one per family).
