Corporate Device Donation Program
Do you have surplus laptops or desktops that are currently unused? Put them to work making a difference. By donating your retired devices, you can help equip students, job seekers, and families with the technology they need to succeed, opening doors to education, healthcare, employment, and a brighter future.
Your contribution enables us to stretch our resources further, expanding access to technology in the communities we serve. Each donated device is securely refurbished, refreshed, and distributed at no cost to households without a computer.
Join us in empowering the next generation, donate your devices today, and turn
unused technology into an opportunity.

How It Works
- Compudopt staff will arrange pick up of your donation from your site or receive it at our warehouse.*
- Compudopt technical staff wipe all data bearing devices in accordance with the NIST 800-88 PURGE standard.
- Devices are cleaned, refurbished, and loaded with a Linux-based operating system called Ubuntu or Windows 10 depending on the needs of the community members.
- Devices are then distributed to families without their own computer at home at our drive-thru operations. All computers are completely free to the families who receive them and include 2-years of free technical support.
- Corporations, organizations, or individuals donate computers and receive a tax receipt.
*If shipped, we will use a secure shipping company.
Benefits of Donating
Tax Deductions - All donations are tax-deductible. Note: the IRS code prohibits non-profit organizations from determining a fair market value for goods donated in-kind.
Volunteerism and Team Building - Partners can help us distribute the computers.
Great CSR and PR - Your donation is helping to close the digital divide and positively supports key focus areas including education, sustainability, and workforce skill development. Photos from our events are a great way to highlight your community support.
Environmental Impact - Reduce your carbon footprint by giving these tools a second life in the hands of children who need them.
*Compudopt takes your data security seriously. We wipe all computers in accordance with the NIST 800-88 PURGE standard. Certificates of Erasure available on request.
